Texas A&M Assistant Dismissed From Program After Punching Two West Virginia Players

West Virginia cornerback Daryl Worley jogged backwards toward the Texas A&M sideline in jest during Monday's Liberty Bowl, but what he got in return was far from funny.

A Texas A&M staffer struck Worley in the back of the head with a punch, and somehow got away with it without the refs noticing. It also appears that the same staffer had another similar incident with West Virginia running back Andrew Buie.

Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin got word of the incidents at halftime, and banished the staffer, student assistant coach Michael Richardson, to the locker room for the second half.

Sumlin went even further with his discipline on Tuesday, dismissing Richardson from the program, per a report by ESPN's Sam Khan Jr.:
