Ryan Shane, a Virginia junior, won the N.C.A.A. men’s singles title over the Wake Forest freshman Noah Rubin, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-1, in Waco, Tex.
Jamie Loeb won the women’s title, becoming North Carolina’s first N.C.A.A. singles champion after beating a fellow sophomore, Carol Zhao of Stanford, 6-2, 4-6, 6-1.
