Vols earn 3-0 win over Bulldogs on Senior Night

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Volunteers concluded the 2015 regular season with a 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-21) victory over Georgia on Friday at Thompson-Boling Arena.

The Vols (21-12, 7-11 SEC) snapped their six-match losing streak to end the year on a winning note with sophomore Kendra Turner leading the way with 13 kills.

Georgia finished the year 5-25 overall and 0-18 in conference.

Before the match, the team honored seniors Lexi Dempsey and Megan Hatcher. Dempsey, the starting setter the last three years, ended her career with 2,951 assists, the sixth-most in program history.

"I am very proud of our team after our performance against Auburn," head coach Rob Patrick said after the match.
