The Tennessee Vols are a far cry from where they were just two years ago. Butch Jones’s plans to rebuild the football program were delayed by a year because he had to replace every member of the offensive line in 2014.
The result was disastrous, as they were the sole reason for losses that year to the Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Gators, and Missouri Tigers.
The development process took a long time, as they struggled in multiple games last year as well, particularly in three of the Vols’ four losses.
But the unit has consistently gotten better with experience and historically great recruiting by Jones, and going into this year, it could be one of the greatest strengths of the Vols.
