Legendary quarterback Peyton Manning will be honored by the National Football Foundation during halftime of Tennessee’s home game against Georgia on Sept. 30. The ceremony is part of the NFF’s “On-Campus Salute” in recognition of his election to the College Football Hall of Fame.
“Peyton Manning’s college football accomplishments clearly rank him among the greatest of all-time,” NFF President & CEO Steven J. Hatchell said in a statement posted on UTSports.com. “And his record on the field, in the classroom and as a leader in the community unquestionably makes him a powerful ambassador for our game.
