What’s the NFL supplemental draft, and why would Jalen Hurd potentially go that route? Fans have questions — and GN has some of the answers.

The supplemental draft is used for players who aren’t eligible for the regular draft, for reasons ranging from disciplinary problems in college to missing the deadline to apply for the draft. Normally, only a handful of players enter the supplemental draft each year.
