Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs has good memories of his last trip to South Carolina. He’s hoping to go 2-for-2 in Columbia as a Volunteer.
Dobbs looked at both the past and future during the Volunteers’ weekly media availability session Tuesday.
The Vols travel to Williams-Brice Stadium for Saturday’s game. When the teams played there two years ago, Dobbs led a furious comeback from 14 points down with five minutes to play as Tennessee defeated the Gamecocks 45-42. Dobbs threw for 301 yards and two TDs that day; it was the first of his four 300-yard games.
That contest, Dobbs said, was a key in helping the Volunteers achieve their goals that season.
