Can the Vols work their way to Hoover?
After a disappointing road trip the Vols are back home in Knoxville. Tennessee finally ended their losing streak Tuesday when they defeated ETSU in Johnson City 14-7. The Vols had dropped six straight prior to that game. They now are back home, where they will play twelve of their final fifteen games. First up for them is a three game series this weekend against South Carolina. The Gamecocks are tied for eighth in the SEC, three games ahead of the last place Vols.
After a weekend series against Kentucky, where the bats were mainly silent, the Vols finally got going offensively Tuesday at ETSU.
