The major downfall of the Titans 2016 season was the dismal play of the cornerbacks. With that in mind, Tennessee needs to target a top tier free agent this offseason – Step away from the tendency to pursue mid level additions and instead address this massive need with the signing of a big name, big game, player.
Unrestricted free agent (UFA), outside, number one cornerbacks that fit the Jon Robinson 2nd contract (mid to late twenty age range) parameters would be ideal. The Pro Football Focus list continues past Valentino (Antwon) Blake, but Titan fans shouldn’t have to stomach the thought of Tennessee targeting a CB ranked lower than him.
