PHILADELPHIA - Warmer weather is in store for Temple men's basketball this weekend, as the Owls (6-3) head south for the Hoophall Miami Invitational to play DePaul (5-2) at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10 (ESPNU / 1210 AM WPHT). The meeting between Temple and DePaul will be the first in nearly 15 years.
Temple had a five-game win streak snapped by George Washington in a 66-63 loss on Wednesday night. The Owls came all the way back from a 15-point second-half deficit, but missed a final three-pointer at the buzzer.
The loss to GW came despite a season-high 12 three-pointers made by Temple.
