UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – For the first time since October of 1989, Temple men's soccer was able to defeat the ever-tough Nittany Lions on the road. A late goal from Jorge Gomez Sanchez lifted the Owls to a 1-0 victory with only six minutes remaining. Tonights win snaps a four-game losing streak in State College, the teams did not face off from 1997 until 2014.
Earning their first win on the road proved to be a battle with the Nittany Lions. Going nearly 84 minutes in a scoreless deadlock, the two teams traded possession and attacking drives throughout the entire match.
