PHILADELPHIA - Redshirt freshman Matt Hennessey has been named to the Rimington Trophy Committee's 2017 Spring Watch List, which includes the 63 best centers in Division I football. The athletes included on the list are predicted to demonstrate excellence at the center position for the 2017 season.
Hennessey (6-4, 285), saw action in two games last season, starting one. In 2016, he was one of only two freshmen listed on the two deep chart to start the season and was the top backup center behind Brendan McGowan who was on both the Rimington Award and the Wuerffel Award Watch Lists.
