PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the women's basketball scheduling model for the 2017-18 season, the league revealed on Thursday.
The American's 12 members will play a 16-game schedule. With the addition of Wichita State, each team will play five of its 11 opponents twice, and six opponents once each – three at home and three away.
Temple will play UCF, Cincinnati, UConn, USF, and SMU both home and away, while taking on Houston, Memphis, and Tulsa at home only. The Owls will play East Carolina, Tulane, and Wichita State away only.
