PHILADELPHIA – The #23/20 Temple women's basketball team sent its seniors off in style, with a wire-to-wire 88-64 win over visiting Cincinnati on Saturday afternoon at McGonigle Hall. The Senior Day victory improved the Owls to 22-6 overall, 12-3 in conference play, while Cincinnati falls to 16-12, 7-8.
Temple set the tone early in the game, not allowing the Bearcats a field goal in the first quarter, as the Owls jumped out to a 23-2 lead. Though Cincinnati went an on an 8-2 run to open the second quarter, Temple's advantage didn't fall below 15 points the rest of the way.
