Carlos Mendez of the Fort Worth Star Telegram tweeted Monday that Luken Baker underwent surgery and is officially done for the season.

Baker suffered the injury in the second to last regular season series for TCU, in a collision at first base.
TCU fans held out hope that the star slugger may be able to come back by the super regional, or maybe Omaha, but now that he’s had surgery those hopes are gone.
