ST. PETERSBURG — Rays manager Kevin Cash used the same four relievers to close out the first two wins of the series with the Orioles, beginning with LHP Enny Romero and ending with RHP
In between were RHP Erasmo Ramirez, who has emerged as not only the most important piece in the bullpen but also one of the most important players on the entire team, and LHP Xavier Cedeno. Romero earned his first career win Tuesday and Colome earned saves in both victories.
“They’ve done a tremendous job,” Cash said. “We were confident we knew what we had in Colome and Cedeno.
