The Tampa Bay Lightning had a disappointing game one against the New York Islanders Wednesday night, losing five to three. The lightning got off to a strong start with Ondrej Palat scoring the first goal of the game. But after Erik Condra’s chilling injury, flying hard into the boards after a hit from Islanders forward Casey Cizikas, the Lightning never recovered.
The lightning got help from Nikita Kucherov who netted his sixth goal of the playoffs. Also scoring for the Lightning was, Ondrej Palat, and Valtteri Filppula who scored his first of the playoffs.
