The off-season is never a fun time for a hockey fan. Instead of putting on their favorite jerseys, painting their faces, and heading to the arena to scream their heads off for their favorite team, they are relegated to their couches and computers to look back on the season that was and hope for some news about the season that lies ahead.
Thankfully for those here in the Bolts Nation, there has been plenty of activity to keep us busy. Tampa Bay Lightning Vice President and General Manager Steve Yzerman has had his hands full attempting to secure the contracts of the players who were set to become Unrestricted and Restricted Free Agents this season.
