Bolts notes: Carle is day-to-day; Stralman 'not near ready'

BRANDON — Who’s in and who’s out?

That’s proven to be a daily guessing game for the Lightning this postseason.

Only once through six playoff games has Tampa Bay head coach Jon Cooper utilized the same lineup in consecutive games, and that was in the first two games against Detroit in the opening round.

As the Lightning get set to host the New York Islanders for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Saturday afternoon, the guessing game will continue before the team takes the ice for pregame warm-ups sometime around 2:30 p.m.

This time, it’s due to more uncertainty around injuries.
