On Sunday, October 11, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take to the field wearing pink accents to their uniforms, joining with the rest of the NFL in supporting breast cancer research. Hundreds of Buccaneer fans will join in the effort, too…and they'll do so by both participating in and watching a much-anticipated competition.
Just hours before the Buccaneers kick off their Week Five game against the the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team will host its third annual Treasure Chests 5K Run/Walk & Corporate Challenge. As the NFL conducts its annual Breast Cancer Awareness month in October, participants in the race will be helping to raise critical funds for research and patient services.
