TAMPA — Former Ohio State defensive end Noah Spence swears he’s not addicted to drugs. He swears he’s not addicted to partying either.
What he is addicted to he says is football.
He knows because he knows how bad it hurt when his dalliance with drugs and the college party scene robbed him of it a couple years ago.
“I felt like I had nothing else left,’’ Spence said of a four-game exile he served and the banishment from the Big 10 that came with it. “After that, I knew I had to turn my life around, because I realized what I love is football and that I had to do what I had to do to be able to have it back again.
