Buccaneers Want “Home Field Advantage”, Haven’t Earned It

There’s no way around it; NFL games are expensive. The tickets, parking, concessions. You’re talking about close to a thousand dollars for a family of four to attend a game. In recent history, you’re talking about that much money for Buccaneers fans to go and watch their team lose.

Since the firing of Jon Gruden, the Buccaneers have won 17 home games. It’s unreasonable to expect people to spend that kind of money when they are far more likely to walk away furious and disappointed than excited and happy with their decision. They could drive an hour up the road and spend that kind of money to take their kids to Disney World or Universal Studios and be guaranteed a great return on their investment.
