Syracuse, N.Y. — Redshirt junior tight end PJ Batten and redshirt senior walk-on offensive lineman Taylor Hindy have decided to leave the Syracuse football program, SU Athletics told Syracuse.com.
Batten did not play in a game during his three seasons for the Orange and was not seen at any practices during preseason camp or spring ball.
Hindy finished the spring as Syracuse's second-team center. After transferring from Washington and sitting out the 2014 season in accordance with NCAA rules, he played three snaps at center against Florida State last season.
