Former Syracuse guard Tyler Ennis makes Houston Rockets' roster (report)

(Darren Abate | The Associated Press)

Former Syracuse guard Tyler Ennis will be on the Houston Rockets' opening-night roster when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.

Earlier Monday it appeared that Ennis would be waived in favor of Pablo Prigioni, according to a report from Shams Charania of The Vertical.

However, Charania reported later Monday that the Rockets had changed course and will keep Ennis while waving Prigioni.

Sources: The Rockets changed course on point guard release: waived Pablo Prigioni, kept Tyler Ennis.
