A wild 9 days for Syracuse basketball: Mike Hopkins, Tyler Lydon leave; Boeheim stays

It started with a huge snowstorm in Syracuse, and ended with Mike Hopkins in Seattle. It took nine days for the course of Orange basketball to change drastically.

The tumultuous time included Hopkins leaving, Jim Boeheim staying and Tyler Lydon heading to the NBA.

Here's a look back at the events between Tuesday, March 14 and Wednesday, March 22.

A relatively boring week for the Orange is set to begin with an NIT game against UNC Greensboro on Tuesday, March 14. A huge snowstorm postpones the game until the next day.

Looking back, this was a pretty good sign of the hectic week to come.
