Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse missed out on one Garden State prospect on Friday when three-star quarterback Anthony Brown verbally committed to Boston College over the Orange.
On Tuesday, SU will have a chance to rebound when it hosts Lincoln (Jersey City, N.J.) High School wide receiver Frank Darby, according to Mike McAllister of CuseNation.com.
Darby, who was offered by Syracuse about a month ago, is one of nine New Jersey wide receivers that the Orange has offered this cycle. SU already has a pledge from Red Bank (Little Silver, N.J.) Regional High School junior Sadiq Palmer.
