Swansea City are close to signing Las Palmas midfielder Roque Mesa for £11million.
The Welsh club are in talks with the 28-year-old, whom they monitored in January, when he was also on the radars of Liverpool and Tottenham.
Paul Clement has targeted a central midfielder and a striker as the priorities of his summer dealings, and Mesa would address the former in the event that the move is completed, with Sevilla and Roma both keen.
