Man City news: Pep Guardiola has made more changes than any other Premier League side

When Claudio Ranieri was manager of Chelsea at the beginning of the Roman Abramovich era, his constant rotation in order to give the influx of highly moneyed stars enough game time earned him the nickname 'Tinkerman'.

That title now appears to have been inherited by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, who in 14 Premier League games has made a remarkable 46 changes to his starting line-up, 12 more than any other team.

Whether bringing players back in after injury or suspension, rotating to keep players fresh amid the demands of European football, or trying to compensate for loss of form, Guardiola has not been able to field a settled line up this season.
