After last week's untimely 2-1 loss to Hull, Swansea sit just three points clear of the relegation zone. Paul Clement's side looked sub-par all afternoon, and the manager's ability to change the game from the bench was compromised by two first-half injuries. More worryingly, it seemed as though once the Swansea game plan had been disrupted by injury, there was no Plan B to accommodate the changes. Left-back Martin Olsson will miss Saturday's trip to Bournemouth, and considering how influential the new man has been since joining in January, Clement will need to compensate.
The new Swans boss needs to find a way to introduce some flexibility into what has been an effective but straightforward tactical plan.
