MIRAMAR BEACH, Florida – Weather was the opponent on Sunday as the Sun Belt Conference opened its 2017 Men's Golf Championships at the par-71, 6,900-yard course Raven Golf Club at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Teams were scheduled to play 36-holes on Sunday before playing 18 on Monday followed by match play on Tuesday.
However, severe weather moved through the area around 10:00 a.m. (CT) forcing a three-hour, 20-minute delay in the middle of round one.
