Georgia State sweeps Saturday slate, ULM hands Texas State first conference loss

TWO HOMERS FOR LITUMBE, TWO WINS FOR THE PANTHERS

Georgia State got their seventh run-rule victory of the season in the first game of the day Saturday. The Panthers scored in every inning in Game 1, including five runs in both the second and fourth innings. Remington Hasty got the scoring going with a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the first. On the season, Georgia State is now 11-1 when scoring in the first inning and 15-2 when scoring first.

After Appalachian State took a 2-1 lead in the second, Ivie Drake quickly put the Panthers back in front with a two-RBI single that scored Morgan Brown and Baylee Sexton.
