Stoke will not sell star goalkeepers Jack Butland or Lee Grant amid interest from a host of Premier League suitors, insists manager Mark Hughes

Stoke will not sell Jack Butland or player of the season Lee Grant according to Mark Hughes, who wants both goalkeepers to compete for the No 1 spot next season.

Grant’s form this campaign saw him sweep the board at the club's annual prize night but he has been consigned to the bench in recent weeks with Butland’s return from injury.

Butland may be the focus of interest this summer with a carousel of top goalkeepers expected between Premier League clubs but Grant is also attracting interest from Brighton, Watford, and Crystal Palace.

The 34-year-old is understood to be cautious about returning to a support role but Hughes is adamant he will be given more opportunities next season.
