The Stanford Cardinal offered a scholarship to three-star defensive lineman Jovan Swann (Greenwood, IN), and that changed the recruiting process for the 6-foot-3, 255-pounder.
"Absolutely," Swann said, via 247sports. "That's a big academic school that represents as a top competitor in the nation."
Swann hasn’t schedule any of his five official visits, but he says Palo Alto will certainly be on the list.
Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan State, and Northwestern are the other contenders to land Swann, who is ranked as the No. 42 defensive tackle in the country and the No. 6 prospect in Indiana in the class of 2016.
