Stanford Football Recruiting: 4-Star RB Bryce Love Commits To The Cardinal

Four-star Wake Forest (NC) Rolesville all-purpose back Bryce Love made his long-awaited commitment announcement on Friday afternoon, choosing the Stanford Cardinal over the North Carolina Tar Heels and Virginia Tech Hokies in a press conference at his high school.

Love is ranked by 247Sports as the nation's #6 all-purpose running back in the Class of 2015, and as the #8 recruit in the state of North Carolina. He held offers from the likes Tennessee, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Wisconsin, and N.C. State amongst many others, but only took official visits to North Carolina (January 24th), Stanford (January 16th), and Virginia Tech (September 19th).

The 5-10, 180-pounds had 206 carries during his senior season for a whopping 2,304 yards and 33 touchdowns, averaging an eye-popping 11.2 yards per carry and 144 yards per game.

All together for his prep career, Love posted 5,372 rushing yards on 511 carries with 71 rushing touchdowns (83 touchdowns overall).
