Tickets remain for the 59th St. Louis Baseball Writers’ dinner on Jan. 15 at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel.
Members of the 1967 World Series champion Cardinals will be saluted at the dinner for which tickets are priced at $150 each with tables of 10 for $1,500 and can be obtained by calling MetroTix at 534-1111.
Bob Gibson, Lou Brock, (manager) Red Schoendienst and Orlando Cepeda are Hall of Famers from the 1967 team who are scheduled to be on hand, along with Hall of Fame broadcaster Tim McCarver, the catcher on that club, and current Cardinals voice Mike Shannon, who played third base on that team.
