Leake's struggle with shingles finally ends
As a ground ball pitcher, Mike Leake hopes to benefit from the team's re-emphasis on infield defense. Having a more athletic outfield behind him should also help him bounce back from a difficult first season in St. Louis.
But Leake should also benefit from better health. He didn't fully recover from last season's battle with shingles until recently.
