Piscotty, Wong have yet to get hot at plate

JUPITER, Fla. • At first glance, the lineup Cardinals manager Mike Matheny inked before Sunday’s 3-0 win against the Miami Marlins looked like one that could transition from Grapefruit League to regular season.

All expected starters were present, except at third base, where utility infielder Jedd Gyorko filled in for Jhonny Peralta, the recent recipient of a painful foul tip to the knee.

But a closer inspection highlighted questions about two key Cardinals who have had rocky offensive performances.
