Stephen Piscotty, who was called up to St. Louis almost two weeks, notched an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to tighten Colorado's lead Saturday night.
Jason Heyward led off the inning with a double, and after Yadier Molina struck out, Jason Moss — who recorded his first hit as a Cardinal on Saturday — clubbed a flyout all the way to the outfield wall. Heyward scurried over to third base as a result.
Then, Piscotty came through with his RBI single to give the Cardinals their second run of the game. He now has a hit in seven consecutive games and in all of his nine starts.
