Flande picked up the first win of his career on Tuesday after going 0-7 before then. Though he normally works out of the bullpen, he made the second-longest outing this season in his first start since September 2014.
In his first start since June 24, Garcia threw six innings, holding the Reds hitless until the fourth and scoreless until the sixth, when he gave up a three-run home run. It was only the fourth homer he’s allowed in 54 innings.
