Ahh, the bunt. The play that never ceases to amaze me when executed under the right circumstances. Do the St. Louis Cardinals execute it correctly? Nowadays, it seems like the only time we see a bunt is when a speedster is at the plate trying to bunt his way onto the base paths. Or, most commonly, when the pitcher is batting with runners on and less than two outs.
As I’ve mentioned above, bunts can be amazing when used correctly.
