St. Louis Considered For IIHF World Junior Championships

The news broke Tuesday that St. Louis is one of the five finalists in the running to host the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championships. Chicago, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, and Tampa, are all finalist cities to host the 2018 WJC and, in doing so, rake in tourism dollars from the players and their families, and all the lovely hockey supporters who come to see them.

The competition will take place over Dec., 2017 and Jan., 2018. It will feature the best men’s ice hockey players from ten countries, many of whom are current or future NHL stars.
