Stastny Activated from Injured Reserve

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has activated forward Paul Stastny from injured reserve (IR). Stastny has missed the past 16 games after suffering a broken right foot in the Blues’ 4-3 win in Vancouver on Oct. 16.

Prior to his injury, Stastny, 29, had posted five points (one goal, four assists) through his first five games this season.

"It’s good to be back with the guys,” Stastny said. “There are only so many skates you can do by yourself. That’s what you miss the most, competing with the guys and being part of the wins and losses with them and going through the ups and downs.
