They haven’t played poorly overall, but they haven’t shot out of the gate like a bullet following the All-Star break. The Blues snuck by the Nashville Predators 1-0 right out of the gate, fell to the San Jose Sharks 3-1 despite seeing some positives, beat up on the Minnesota Wild for the first time in forever it seems and then fell to the Winnipeg Jets in a shootout.
St. Louis had a few bright spots. The Al MacInnis-like shot from Colton Parayko that knotted the game up in the second period was definitely a plus for this team.
