The St. Louis Blues willed their way to a victory last night at home. The Scottrade Center celebrated a win for their Blues after Alex Steen found an empty net to extend the Note’s lead to 3-1 in the closing stages of the 3rd period.
Scottie Upshall found the net earlier in the 3rd period to get his team the game-winning goal with a heck of a celebration to show for it.
Vladimir Tarasenko, who else, tied the game at 1 in the 2nd period on a power play. The Blues failed to capitalize on a 5-on-3 situation later in the 2nd which puts the magnifying glass on their dismal power play even further.
