Berglund Plays 144 Holes on All-Star Break

Blues forward Patrik Berglund visited the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona for his All-Star break this past weekend. Berglund played eight rounds and 144 holes of golf in five days, which sounds like some sort of Vegas prop bet.

The resort featured a 27-hole championship course that was named “North America’s Leading Golf Resort” by World Travel Awards, and has been ranked among the “Top 75 Golf Resorts in America” by Golf Digest.

Berglund was joined by teammate Magnus Paajarvi, Vancouver goaltender Jakub Markstrom and two friends from his hometown. The lengthy lefty fired four of his eight rounds in the 70s, including a vacation-best 75 - a score which was ballooned by a triple-bogey on the finishing hole.
