Beloved St. Louis Blues announcer Darren Pang participated in a Blues promotion (much as Brett Hull did last week), picking his four favorite saves of the season and asking fans to rank them. Allen, Elliott, and Broedeur all made appearances, with Ells getting two goals in the mix to Allen’s and Brodeur’s one.
Elliott finished the season with 26 wins on 46 games played, including five shutouts, meaning he had many more saves to choose from for this particular contest. He spent time in net during only one playoff game due to Jake Allen’s impressive performance over the end of the regular season.
