As first reported on by Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports, the St. John's Red Storm will face the Oregon State Beavers in the first round of the 2017 Advocare Invitational. As for the rest of the tournament, the first round matchups will look as follows.
West Virginia vs. Marist
Nebraska vs. UCF
St. John’s vs. Oregon State
Missouri vs. Long Beach State
Oregon State is coming off a dreadful season in which they finished 5-27, winning only once in the Pac-12. Some of their losses came at the hands of some lousy mid-major teams, including Lamar, Savannah State, and Long Beach State.
