St. John’s Red Storm men’s basketball head coach Chris Mullin will be recognized at the 2016 Samaritan Daytop Foundation Gala next Wednesday on October 26 at Tribeca Rooftop in Lower Manhattan.
They are from the Samaritan Daytop Village, which started out as a Queens counseling center. They have now developed as a nationally-recognized human services organization, doing a lot of good work towards New Yorkers facing adversity.
They have done a number of services, like substance abuse treatment, mental health and primary health care, specialized programs for military veterans, vocational and employment services, shelter and transitional housing, and services for senior.
