Things did not go well last week.
I did not give Tennessee and Arkansas enough credit, and gave Kentucky too much. I was looking good on Pitt and Penn State, until the Nittany Lions scored a late touchdown. And, yes, I went with South Carolina over Mississippi State. I could not get the South Alabama loss out of my head, and clearly the Bulldogs did not have that problem. Were it not for Lane Kiffin keeping the Bama offense firing until the very end, I shudder at what could have happened.
The result:
Last week: 1-5 against the spread (4-2 straight-up)
For the season: 4-8 ATS (8-4 straight-up)
Yeah, that’s not good.
