Superb Southampton produced their most impressive performance under manager Claude Puel's guidance to thrash woeful West Ham 3-0 and move into the top half of the Premier League table.
In-form striker Charlie Austin scored a fifth goal in four games to break the deadlock before half-time at the end of an excellent team move before turning provider for Dusan Tadic for the second early in the second half. Substitute James Ward-Prowse crowned a comprehensive and deserved victory in stoppage time with a first goal since January after another free-flowing break.
But for West Ham goalkeeper Adrian, the victory would have been even more commanding.
